Just a quick reminder that the Great Castledon Picnic is tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing as many of you and your hounds as possible The weather looks good - no rain forecast and no where near as hot as last weekend, thank goodness! Hopefully see you all from 11.00 onwards

We had a really good time at the picnic today. Our lovely greyhounds were so well behaved and it was great for us owners to catch up with each others' news and mostly tto give lots of cuddles and fuss to the hounds.
Tink ate his own body weight in sausages and made no apology for hunting down more treats regardless of whose bags they were in!
The only downside was the hour it took to get out of the car park but even that was a good people watching opportunity!
Thank you Andrea for organising it for us, looking forward to catching up again at the garden party next month.

We had a lovely time, too - not sure if the Classic Car Show was a positive or a negative, although I think Dale & Tony would say a positive after seeing Mad Max's Interceptor car there, lol! It took us about 40 minutes to get out of the car park but once we were out, the roads were fine! Enya and Shay are exhausted. Not that they did much - being out of their usual 'routine' is far too mentally challenging for them, lol! Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a lovely day

Thanks for organising a lovely day Andrea, really enjoyed it. Don't think we had ever seen it so busy there, but there was room enough for everyone. Getting out was a bit of a hassle, we stopped off for an ice cream and by the time we had finished they had opened up the IN gate for people to go out so got out a little quicker. Sophie and Harry really enjoyed themselves, hardly stopped snacking the whole time. See everyone at the garden party next month.

Sounds as though everybody had a good day at the picnic, especially the hounds with their treats. Weather was just about right too. We must aim to make it there next year, though we did need to catch up with Graham this time. Ironically if we hadn't have gone on the Brandon walk on Sunday we wouldn't have found out that the Woodbridge walk had been changed. We'd have ended up at the wrong place as we did for the Greyhound Extravaganza.
