I have to say we are all feeling a bit chuffed about it because we have never heard of anybody making that kind of money at a boot sale. We did have two pitches though as we had so many items donated. The hounds were a distinct advantage as they were, as always, a greyt talking point, and a good way of keeping punters near our pitches, which in turn provoked more interest. Tink and Mia sat behind Rose & Tony's pitch, safely in the shade and we kept Lacey & Duke safely in the back of Jan's car for most of the time as Jan had rigged up a tablecloth to provide good shade. Of course we encouraged anyone who wished to meet the hounds! And we gave out a few rehoming leaflets as well. So all in all, I think it was a very worthwhile exercise. Rose, Tony, Jan & I finished the day off with a fish and chip supper at Rose & Tony's, along with a glass or two of...........
