We're not We'll be in Berlin this weekend for a "special" birthday. It's a shame as it's our Alfie-versary - one year since we met our latest hound for the first time. We're not convinced he is a hound at all as he sits like a dog, and barks like there's no tomorrow, but we love him whatever he is. Gertie hasn't given up hope that we're sending "the dog" back (she's not a dog, obviously, she's a princess). Sorry Gertie, but Alfie's a keeper! We will catch up with you all again at some point, honest we will!

That's a shame that we won't see you Dawn, Luke, Gertie and Alfie :-(
However, do have a great time in Berlin and we'll hopefully catch up with you all soon! xx

We too hope the show was a success and that Castledon did well on their stall. Sorry we could't make it, but because of Harley's health issue we daren't take the risk despite the cooler weather. He stresses when travelling and won't settle, which wouldn't do him any favours.

Hope the show went well Andrea, we could not be there this time. xx 'Twas a bit of a disaster, to be honest, Andy! It was far too windy to put a gazebo up, so Jodie attempted to set our 'Wine or Water' stall and items for sale up on a table, without the gazebo. However, when the bottles were put into the gift bags for the game, the wind was actually blowing them over! Plus, the items on our Sale table were also being blown off the table - the lady on the stall next door who was selling cushion covers lost a lot of her stock as it took off, last seen heading towards Stanstead airport! Everyone was struggling against the wind and several gazebos met their demise! So, in the end, Jodie sadly had to give up and packed everythig away.. The weather really is a killer - especially the wind. Such a shame. Certainly makes you realise how lucky we've been with our own Garden Parties, eh?! They do say that the sun shines on the righteous.....!

That's very sad Andrea. We had that at the Abbots Langley Carnival. Literally everything was blowing away and we had to take down the gazebo for fear of it being trashed.
Talking of Garden Parties.......
We will sort one as soon as we can - we have had a lot of work done outside and it's not quite finished yet. We have a drive that can take at least 10 cars now!!!
A xx
