On Sunday, Dale and I had the pleasure of taking Lucy out for the morning.
She hopped into the car with no problem and we didn't hear a peep out of her for the whole journey.
When we arrived home, we introduced her to our 3 and she took it all in her stride
Here she is with Elsa after she'd had a groom:
We then took her out for a walk and I must say that she is the most laid back dog that I have ever walked - she walked along side me and didn't pull at all.
We saw a Jack Russell coming towards us and she seemed very curious. When I explained to the owner that she'd probably never seen another breed of dog before, he asked if she'd like to meet him.
The JR was very bouncy but Lucy just looked bemused and even a little wary when it bounced a bit too near, bless her.
We then popped in to see a friend, being very aware that this was the first time that Lucy would have ventured into a home.
There was no need to worry - she just checked each room out in turn and then plonked herself down on the floor in the lounge!
Our friend was amazed - Lucy kept dabbing her with her paw so that she'd carry on tickling her tummy!
After a couple of minutes of doing this, she then did something that can take some dogs many months to do after going into a home.....
We then carried on to Summerhill Garden Centre to pick Lolly up, who had been doing a Meet & Greet there.
We took Lucy in with us and she lapped up all the attention and won a few hearts
Being almost 8 years old, this gorgeous girl is often over-looked by younger dogs which is SUCH a shame - she'll make the most fantastic, loving pet for some lucky person.
Could that person be you?
