This is a greyt way for our supporters to help us without having to part with any of their hard earned cash! If you go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/castledongreyhoundrescue and register as a supporter, you can make normal purchases you would online, become eligible for special offers AND Castledon get a donation when you spend! I've been registered for a while, and I've downloaded the toolbar. This is handy, because if I find I'm visiting a site which is affiliated to easyfundraising (such as B&Q when recently shopping for fluorescent light tube) it flags up a donation opportunity. I just click to donate, and if I make a purchase, Castledon get a percentage! In many cases this included reserve online and collect instore. Loads of retailers we use every day participate - Argos, Amazon, Debenhams, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Pizza express, Play.com..... to name just a few. You can check out the full list here www.easyfundraising.org.uk/a-z-of-retailers/And by signing up you become eligible to offers (I've been getting an email about once a fortnight which I don't find too intrusive). Please take a look. It will cost you nothing, might save you money, and can help Castledon keep helping hounds.

I can confirm just how easy and worthwhile this is to do:
I got my house insurance quote through and decided to see if I could renew it through the same company via. easyfundraising and secure a donation to Castledon. It wouldn't let me renew it this way, so I just did a new quote with them and it came out £50 cheaper than i'm paying at the moment! ;D AND they also made a £5 donation to Castledon!
Result x 2!

I got a gift for Jan for our wedding anniversary, and it prompted a donation of over £5 to Castledon - for nothing! ;D

Just bumping this one up again. If you're planning on doing any of your Christmas shopping online, then please check this out. You follow the link www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/castledongreyhoundrescue and register as a Castledon supporter. From there you can search for suppliers and go shopping - depending on the deal, Castledon get either a percentage or a fixed donation, but it costs you NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH! I've used it quite a bit - in some cases you can reserve online and collect instore (from Argos and B&Q for example) and we still get a donation. In our first month we raised over £20 with just a few people signed up. I'm sure we can do better than that over Christmas! I bought my niece a Kindle from Amazon and that clocked up £1.85. It's worth a look Thanks.

Just seen on the news that today is 'Mega Monday' - the busiest day of the year for online shopping. When you do your shopping from the comfort of your lounge, why not do it via the easyfundraising site and help raise funds for Castledon into the bargain? Happy shopping!

Back in March, I did my motorbike insurance on the Bennetts website, via. easyfundraising. It said that they would make a donation to my chosen charity but as it was so long ago, I assumed that they weren't going to and so i'd forgotten all about it. Imagine my suprise today when I got an email through saying that they'd made a £10 donation to Castledon! Nice one, Bennetts & easyfundraising! ;D

Nice one Andrea!
I'm hoping to get a dishwasher soon (birthday present from Mum!). That will almost certainly be ordered online from Comet or Currys via easyfundraising. I get what I would have bought for the price I would have paid.... only difference is Castledon get a bonus!

Just bumping this again - this is SUCH an easy and free way to raise cash for Castledon! I've just renewed my home insurance and got a whopping £22.50 donation for Castledon! ;D I just went onto the easyfundraising site and did a search through confused.com for home insurance, which in itself generated a 25p donation. I then went on to the website of the cheapest quote that confused.com had generated via. the easyfundraising site (in this case, Sheilas Wheels) Admittedly, I had to re-input all the info again but it was certainly worth £22.50 for an extra 5 minutes of my time! Next time you're shopping online, why not give it a try?

If you're shooping online for Christmas presents, why not do it via the easyfundraising site and raise some funds for Castledon? It's free and easy to do - you still get your items at the same price on the retailers website, with the only difference being that Castledon get a donation, too! All the big retailers are on there - Amazon, Argos, ebay to name but a few Castledon has raised £111 over the past year through easyfundraising ;D www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/castledongreyhoundrescue

Just found out about this and as we usually order our dog food online from Wilkinsons, and collect in store, we thought it was a greyt (see I'm learning the hound jargon) idea so we registered. First donation was only 50p (please stop laughing) but we do order 10 bags around every 6 weeks plus other stuff.
