Yes of course we noticed Andrea! Does someone have something to tell us . No flies on you, eh Rose? Yes. it's official - Seamus is now a member of the Kirk family, God help him! Only thing is, i'm afraid that i've had to change his name as the name Seamus gave me visions of someone who wanted to 'tarmac my drive'! Sorry Jodie but I just couldn't live with that name, so he's now called Shay He's settled in really well - Enya likes him and vice versa. I can't quite believe how big he is though - he's HUGE! Little & Large having a walk at Southend on sea Relaxing after a walk Shay is so good on the lead and doesn't pull at all - he's such a calm boy, apart from when i'm getting his dinner ready, lol! He has to come into the kitchen to supervise me but he doesn't jump up at the counter (although it's head height anyway, lol!) Today we went to visit our friend, Nick who's at a rehab centre in Northampton having suffered a serious head injury at work. As he's progressing really well, we were allowed to take him out for lunch. We left the dogs in the van for about an hour (popping back occasionally to check on them) and there wasn't a peep out of them. What brilliant dogs! They travelled really well together, too both finding their own space. Here's hoping it will continue......

Oh Andrea, we are so glad that Seamus, now Shay, has found his forever home. We have always had a soft spot for him since he was one of the dogs I walked when we were looking for another, and we had to make a decision between him and Harry. We are sooo glad we have Harry but have always hoped that Seamus would be homed soon. He couldn't have gone to a better home and we wish him a lovely life with you. Happy life Shay, love Maureen, Derek, Sophie and Harry.

I guess having your name changed a bit is a very small price to pay in return for a lovely new life with great people & lovely little Lurcher girl!!

Ha ha! Yes - when we got that sofa many years ago, it was with our dogs in mind Up until now, there's been plenty of room! Have found that if we manage to get to it before Shay climbs up and sprawls out, we can get him to stay up the other end. If we don't get there before him, then all bets are off! Heere's Dale demonstrating......(sorry the photo's a bit blurry!)
