The show season will soon be upon us and with this in mind we’re looking for a very special person/s..... At a recent Trustee meeting, it was agreed that what Castledon really would benefit from is a dedicated show co-ordinator/fundraiser with new ideas to inject fresh impetus into our fundraising efforts. We are looking for an enthusiastic person (or persons!) for the coming show season. • Do you have any ideas as to how we could make the Castledon stall stand out from the crowd at shows, at the same time raising funds for our rescue? • Are you happy to give up the occasional Saturday/Sunday to help the hounds? You would need to be prepared to transport the Castledon equipment to and from various shows/events, set up the stall, run the stall for the duration of the event and pack away at the end. Our show equipment consists of 1 gazebo, 2 large folding banquet tables and a bag containing a cover for the tables, our banner, collecting buckets, flyers etc. You would need room to store the above between shows. You would be free to implement your fundraising ideas as to the running of the stall. A lot of the work that goes into organising and running the stall is done before the actual event itself. Although it’s a lot of hard work it can also be immensely enjoyable and very rewarding. Interested? Form an orderly queue……!
