Full arrangements are:
Flaunden Village Hall - Tuesday 19th February
The hall is on the southern outskirts of the village on Birch Lane – approaching from the Green Dragon proceed to the cross roads and turn right and the hall is 30 yards on the left. There is a sign post at the main cross roads pointing to the hall. The hall does not have a postcode but for sat. nav. purposes use HP3 0PP which is adjacent to the hall.
We start our talk at 8pm, but we will meet there at 7.30pm to get the dogs and ourselves ready! ;D
As always, please have my mobile number with you in case of any last minute emergency - 07939 055031
If you could also kindly indicate your intentions again, I can start "integrating" the hounds into the talk. ;D ;D ;D
I'll start - Andy and Jan with Lacey & Duke.

Looking like I am not going to make this after all. The car went in for a service and to establish what was making a clonking noise. Turns out I need a new gear box, unless the garage can re-condition mine, I won't know the outcome until Mon/Tues so doubt I will have the car back by Tuesday. Not a happy bunny.

Mia, Tink, Lacey and Duke wowed the ladies at Flaunden WI last evening.
The hounds were absolutely brilliant - they make such good visual aids!
And they raised some funds for Castledon at the same time! ;D
I think we have some rather proud owners this morning.
Don't forget, the Castledon 40mph Couch Potato Roadshow is always available for "gigs". ;D ;D ;D

I just thought I would post a little update about the "Roadshow".
What is it?
It is a 45 minute talk with a Q & A session.
What is the talk about?
The object of the talk is to raise awareness about Greyhounds, and in it we explain the history of the breed, what it is like for a greyhound in racing, greyhounds as pets and also the rehoming process, in particular, the Castledon way.
Where do you do it?
We already have three "gigs" booked for this year. 1 in Northwood, Middx, 1 in Essendon, Herts and 1 in Flackwell Heath, Bucks. So as you can see the "Roadshow" gets around quite a bit!
Who do you do it for?
The groups that book us are many and varied and we can often provide them during the working day due to being able to control our own diaries. Most of these talks generate moderate "expenses" payments. We donate any payments to Castledon.
Do you take your dogs?
YES - they are the best "visual aids" in the business!
If you know of any groups that would like a talk on "40MPH COUCH POTATOES" please pass on our details or ask me for more!
Thank you.
Andy
