The Castledon Roadshow was in full "flight" on Wednesday. Sheena and I (along with Lilly, Lacey and Duke) presented to around 250 people at the Northwood & District U3A. WOW! We have never done a roadshow to so many people - it was quite nerve racking, but it went well and we raised a nice amount for Castledon - and ran out of leaflets!!! Next stop for the Roadshoww is Essendon WI on the evening of 15th April. Please let me know if you would like to come along and I'll see how many hounds they can take!!!

Wow, that's incredible Andy and Sheena - it was the Couch Potato Roadshow's equivalent of playing the 02!
Well done to you all.

We only were told how many people were present literally a few minutes before we walked in with the dogs! Luckily they were an extremely lovely group and all nerves dissipated immediately. It was an amazing success and who knows, one day it maybe the O2??

Wow! That's fabulous and a testament to what lovely natured dogs you have, Andy & Sheena! Thank you so much for the time and effort that all the hounds and their humans put in for the Castledon Roadshow

The following is a list of dates/times/venues for the next lot of bookings for the Castledon 40mph Couch Potato Roadshow: Tuesday 19th September 2017 - 11am at U3A, Woodside, Watford Monday 25th September 2017 - 7.30pm at Vespa Women's Club, St Albans Monday 30th October 2017 - 8pm at Copper Beech Women's Club, Bricket Wood Monday 13th November 2017 - 7.30pm National Association of Women's Clubs - Bushey Wednesday 17th January 2018 - 2pm at U3A, Croxley Green Lacey has already retired from public duties, and as it would be a miracle if we still had Duke, we are looking for some hounds to come along and be lovely visual aids. The only requirement is a calm, rock solid hound who can sit quietly on its bed and doesn't mind fuss and attention! We normally give a talk for about half an hour, then take questions and then invite the audience to meet the hounds. It's all very relaxed. I can't offer any expenses as anything we get is donated to Castledon. The reward is knowing you are helping to promote the breed and raise a few pounds for Castledon. If you feel you can help, please get in touch. We can do it without hounds, but with hounds is so much more effective. Thank you.

HI Andy, Derek and I (and dogs) would be able to help on Tuesday 19th September. Harry is "bomb" proof . Would have to bring Sophie but she would sleep most of the time but still likes to meet people and have a fuss. However, if I thought she was getting stressed or unhappy with the situation I would take her out and sit with her in the car. Would this be of help for you? Maureen

Hi Andy
Potentially I should be able to do 19th and 25th September and 13th November.
30th October is half term for James so may not be able to manage that one if I'm on Nana duty! Can't make 17th Jan.
